MATC

The MATC offers off-campus educational opportunities to qualified Junior and Senior students in technical/trade programs. These programs are designed to prepare the student to enter the workplace.

MATC Site
The mission of the Mountainland Applied Technology College (MATC) is to provide market-driven career and technical education to both secondary and adult students, which meets the demand by Mountainland Region employers for technically skilled workers.

This is accomplished through competency-based education and training programs, which may be long term, short term, apprenticeship, or custom designed for individual employer needs. Many of the programs are offered in an open-entry, open-exit format providing flexibility for students and employers.

Students are assisted in acquiring the basic skills necessary to succeed in these technical training programs. MATC prepares high school students to enter the workplace, which contributes to the economic development, and improves the quality of life for Mountainland Region citizens.
